10 Keys to Valentus Success
1. Understand your Valentus Back Office
Learn to navigate the reporting tools, genealogy, how to order, set up loyalty purchase (autoship), change rotator, use contact manager, check earnings and order your payoneer/paylution card.
2. Understand the Compensation Plan
Get a basic understanding of the comp plan. You certainly don't need to know it in detail in the beginning, but you should at least know the key points and where your earnings will come from in the first stages of your business.
3. Understand your WHY
What is/are the primary reason(s) that excite you to help engage you in your Valentus business? Write them down, share with others (spouse, sponsor, business partner) and read these reasons out loud every day.
4. Establish your Brand
What "angle" are you going to take with your Valentus business? Are you a product champion, a business mogul? or both? How are you going to share this message of hope with others? Be clear on your message you will consistently share. Be sure to rehearse this message with your sponsor before you start prospecting.
5. Rehearse Your Testimony
What were your circumstances before you joined Valentus, and what were you looking to get out of this experience? Health concerns? Financial issues? What was your first impression of Valentus' products? What were the immediate benefits you realized on the products? What confidence did this provide you to start sharing these products and business opportunity with others? Keep your testimony to less than 2 minutes, practice it and share it with your sponsor and upline.
6. Build Your Contact List
Do NOT pre-judge who you think would be interested in Valentus. Have a dedicated booklet that you will carry with you everywhere you go, and continually add to it as names of prospects pop in your head. Use a "memory jogger" such as the Yellow Pages and think about whom you know from A to Z in business categories, and add names and phone numbers/emails to your list. Everyone knows on average 2,000 people, so start your list!
7. Profile using F~O~R~M
Friends/family, occupation, recreation, money... Use this acronym EVERY time you call a prospect. Ask good questions, use their first name, LISTEN intently, and identify personal "hot buttons" of your prospect. When it comes to asking the POWER QUESTION, be sure to summarize all of the important hot buttons that were uncovered and relevant, and simply ask the question "if I can show you a way to help you with (hot buttons) and give you the time and financial freedom that you deserve, would you give me 15 minutes of your time?" Send them to your movie www.UserName.ValentusMovie.com and agree on a time to follow up with them within 24 hours or less.
8. Demonstrate Support with a 3 way Call
Make arrangements in advance with your SPONSOR to follow up with your prospect at a pre-determined time agreed upon. Once connected be sure to say "Good news, I have my sponsor on the line with me.." Be sure to appropriately edify your sponsor AND edify your prospect and then be quiet. Say Nothing. Your sponsor will do the job of determining value for your prospect to join Valentus by asking good questions, and asking if they are ready to join afterwards. Once a decision is made, the sponsor will turn the call back to you to simply start the enrollment registration process. DO NOT re-sell the prospect on the points your sponsor already made! Ask the question, "What name do you wish to appear on commission and bonus checks? And your mailing address is?…"
9. Be a Great Trainer
Be a great promoter of the Valentus Corporate calls scheduled weekly, various events that will offer insight for success working at home, etc. Being a professional network marketer means being a professional pointer in the direction of valuable information for you and your team to plug into.
10. Lead by EXAMPLE
Stay out of "management mode"! Leading means just that... continue to sponsor new representatives and customers weekly. By continuing to focus on the core activity that grows your business, your example and resulting success will motivate your team members to duplicate your efforts. Celebrating success with your team members is a good thing, but trying to motivate others to plug in and work their business is not. Remember, some will and some won't. Be the leader of your team, not the follower.
